Ready for the Braves game tonight.
Blue unstructured jacket. Red OCBD. Navy medallion tie. Light blue cotton square.
Brown chinos. Tan longwings (that need a polishing). Sockless.
Styleforum challenge was to dress in the colors of your favorite sports team. Not having a teal jacket made of tears and futility, I decided to take a pass on the Jaguars and instead represent for the Florida Gators.
Unstructured blue cotton jacket. Orange shirt. Linen-cotton herringbone striped tie. Green oxford square.
White chinos. Tan loafers. Scandalizing the Victorians.
Grey on gray. Tie and socks are super matchy, I know, but when I’m standing or seated without crossing my leg there is a lot more real estate between them.
Navy with grey stripe cotton-linen sportcoat. Grey prince of wales check shirt. Burgundy grenadine tie. White cotton square.
Grey wool pants. Black tassel loafers. Burgundy striped socks.
Pairing this sportcoat with a pink shirt brings out entirely different undertones in the color than the blue shirts that I have paired it with in the past. The red geometric pattern on the pocket square also strengthens the warmth of the look.
Navy socks: the universal sock.
Brown wool glen check sportcoat. Pink OCBD. Brown knit tie. Brown silk square with a red geometric pattern.
Brown chinos. 2” cuffs. Brown suede loafers. Navy socks.
Terrible picture - my camera focused on my shoe and I didn’t spot it til I had already left my house.
Also, I fixed the giant eruption of yellow coming out of my pocket.
Unstructured navy cotton jacket. Purple OCBD. Aqua plaid tie. Yellow silk monstrosity.
Navy chinos. Cordovan wingtips. Navy socks.
Got in a rush and had an off day.
